Ahhh, It's just another Monday, or is it? I had every intention of sitting down to post this picture and talk about the mini sewing retreat I went on this weekend. Instead, the school nurse called me at 9:00 am this morning to tell me my son had thrown up and to ask me to come and get him. Absolutely! I went and picked him up, came home, got him settled on the couch. The phone rings again. The school nurse calling to tell me that my daughter had just come to her office complaining of a stomach ache. So, at 9:20 I was at the school signing her out. After I got back home and got her settled, I called my mother to tell her all about my morning and she just laughed and laughed like something was funny. So here I am making chicken noodle soup and jello and I'm hoping (probably against hope) that the little rascals haven't given their little stomach bug to me. Happy sewing!

Boy it really is a Monday! Today, I left the house late, without my wallet, barely made my train after going back for it, got soaked in the rain, then sat on my wet coat so I had a wet BUM too...Monday, Monday.
Hope the kids are on the mend and this fun quilt is coming right along. Cool, cool!
Sorry about everyone being sick, that is never fun.
That block is amazing by the way!
Monday is right! I hope you escape the bug and the kids recover quickly. I love your sewing from the weekend- hope to hear more on that when you can!
WOW WOW WOW!!! Love that blue! See now that blue bit you did last week would have made a great border on this... LOVE this.
Hope your little angels feel better soon and you escape the bug!
That quilt looks amazing!! As for the kids - that happened to me a couple of weeks back except I was in the garage spray painting and didn't hear the phone. The nurse was calling everyone on my emergency list and couldn't get any of them, so the poor nurse was stuck with my sick kids until I got all her frantic messages a couple of hours later. Yes I am mother of the year lol!
I hope everyone feels better soon! And I hope that you don't get what they have.
I love love love love this! It's like pornography for quilters. Haha!
life is so like that huh? I'm loving your quilt though. The pic of it was sooooo distracting while I read your post lol!
Lovely quilt! Yes, I understand the Monday thing. Poor kids...hope they're feeling better.
You can't get sick! You don't have time! I hear Miss V just signed you up for a Round Robin -- you have too much to do to be sick . . . think positive thoughts.
Great improv. Free piecing really appeals to me and my sense of design. Good job.
Sounds like a morning I could have too. Great looking quilt though.
