My Tulip is Quilted

My scrappy tulip block is quilted! Doesn't it look cute? And ya gotta luv a striped binding!

I heavily quilted the red background with a hot pink thread for texture and a little bit of contrast.

I hope my friend likes it! She is getting it tonight!
Happy quilting!

Shelly, Love it!!! I love the quilting and have never tried that, how fun to use pink thread! Each time i see this I think of Nifty Quilts and it is as though the blocks are fraternal twins with their own fun-ness yet a certain connectedness!! Psst, I love the binding, I have the same stripe and so enjoy using it!!!

Beautiful, I love it! Remember how I would sometimes pick the red, pink, and yellow ribbons to use together at the store and it would drive Jennifer and Roseanne crazy? Love that color combination.

I don't think there is a lovlier color that red for a background....and if the background if something else red is the thing appliqued to it! This flower makes me so very happy!
